Great question! Most of the finished pieces are sourced from estate sales and auctions. We have made it our mission to make sure all the hours spent by very talented stitchers over the decades find homes so they are cherished. In the description section of the item, we always include the first name of the stitcher if known. There are also a few pieces offered that I have personally stitched which is detailed in the description section.

I find that counted stitch art is almost always a collaboration. In that spirit, most people want to choose the finish on these pieces to put their touch on the finished product to be displayed in their home. Some pieces we acquire are framed so nicely it would be a shame to disturb them so we offer them as completely framed and ready to take home and enjoy.We have so many talented customers who quilt or use these pieces in mixed media art, ornaments, etc. it is this collaboration that makes each piece special.
