Finished Unframed Amish Woman Feeding Ducks Scene Cross Stitch Piece
Handmade Cross Stitch Piece.
This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Violet from Florida.
The pattern used is a vintage cross stitch pattern featuring an Amish woman in light blue with two woven baskets feeding the white ducks. The tree in the background and the whole piece is done in muted shades of purple and green. Very peaceful scene.
This piece has been cleaned, deodorized and pressed. It is ready to be used however you choose.
This adorable pattern could be worked into a pillow or framed for a wall hanging.
The finished stitched piece is rectangle and measures approximately 8-1/2" from top to bottom and 6" from side to side.
This nice country scene is stitched on a piece of cloth measuring 10-1/2" from top to bottom and 9" from side to side so there is plenty of fabric to be able to use the scene however you wish.
Most people either frame these pieces or use them to make pillows, wall quilt hangings or stitch them into some other project.
Quilters use them as accent pieces to quilt around to make a special quilt or pillow.
