Finished Unframed English Cottage Garden Scene Cross Stitch Piece

Handmade Cross Stitch Piece.

This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Violet from Florida.

The pattern used is a vintage cross stitch pattern featuring a large English thatch cottage with a fireplace and lots of character. The cottage sits on a wooded and landscaped lot with a walkway leading up to the front door.

This piece has been cleaned, deodorized and pressed.  It is ready to be used however you choose.  

This adorable pattern could be worked into a pillow or framed for a wall hanging.

The finished stitched piece is rectangle and measures approximately 7" from top to bottom and 9" from side to side.

This beautiful cottage scene is stitched on a piece of cloth measuring 12-3/4" from top to bottom and 16" from side to side so there is plenty of fabric to be able to use the scene however you wish.

Most people either frame these pieces or use them to make pillows, wall quilt hangings or stitch them into some other project.  

Quilters use them as accent pieces to quilt around to make a special quilt or pillow.
