Finished Unframed Kitchen Herb Garden Cross Stitch Piece -Stitched 1 Over 1

Handmade Cross Stitch Piece.

This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Violet from Florida.

The pattern used is a vintage cross stitch pattern featuring a very well loved herb garden all in different pots and all growing nicely. The design reads, "This Kitchen is Seasoned with Love", all in different colored and styled letters. Around the edge of the design are all the herb names also in different color lettering, Thyme, Mint, Chives, Marjoram, Licorice, Wintergreen, Cloves, Oregano, Sage, Tarragon, Ginseng, Aloe Vera, Basil, Rosemary, and Dill.

This piece has been cleaned, deodorized and pressed.  It is ready to be used however you choose.  

This adorable pattern could be worked into a pillow or framed for a wall hanging.

The finished stitched piece is rectangle and measures approximately 6-1/4" from top to bottom and 8" from side to side.

This detailed Herb garden pattern is stitched on a piece of cloth measuring 8" from top to bottom and 10" from side to side so there is plenty of fabric to be able to use the scene however you wish.

Most people either frame these pieces or use them to make pillows, wall quilt hangings or stitch them into some other project.  

Quilters use them as accent pieces to quilt around to make a special quilt or pillow.
