Finished Unframed Lanarte Dreaming by Stoney Creek Cross Stitch Piece

Handmade Cross Stitch Piece.

This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Violet from Florida.

The pattern used is a vintage cross stitch pattern that was first published in 1994 as Stoney Creek leaflet LL013. The pattern name is Dreaming. This pattern features a very peaceful little girl with her sleeping white cat. The girl is wearing a beautiful pink dress and straw hat and has a pink flower in her hair. The pair are cuddling together on a wicker chair. This piece is finished off with a delicate trim going all the way around that features metallic threads and the name of the piece at the bottom - Dreaming.

This piece has been cleaned, deodorized and pressed.  It is ready to be used however you choose.  

This adorable pattern could be worked into a pillow or framed for a wall hanging.

The finished stitched piece is square and measures approximately 9-1/2" from top to bottom and 9-1/2" from side to side.

This peaceful scene pattern is stitched on a piece of cloth measuring 16-1/4" from top to bottom and 13-1/4" from side to side so there is plenty of fabric to be able to use the scene however you wish.

Most people either frame these pieces or use them to make pillows, wall quilt hangings or stitch them into some other project.  

Quilters use them as accent pieces to quilt around to make a special quilt or pillow.
