Finished Unframed Pansy Flowers in Glass Jar Cross Stitch Piece
Handmade Cross Stitch Piece.
This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Violet from Florida.
The pattern used is a vintage cross stitch pattern featuring yellow and purple pansies in a clear glass jar. The pansies in the jar and around the jar where they have fallen fit nicely inside a floral border that completes the scene.
This piece has been cleaned, deodorized and pressed. It is ready to be used however you choose.
This adorable pattern could be worked into a pillow or framed for a wall hanging.
The finished stitched piece is rectangle and measures approximately 4-1/2" from top to bottom and 3-3/4" from side to side.
This cheery pansy scene is stitched on a piece of cloth measuring 8-1/4" from top to bottom and 6" from side to side so there is plenty of fabric to be able to use the scene however you wish.
Most people either frame these pieces or use them to make pillows, wall quilt hangings or stitch them into some other project.
Quilters use them as accent pieces to quilt around to make a special quilt or pillow.
