Finished Unframed Stone House With Swan Cross Stitch Piece -Stitched 1 Over 1
Handmade Cross Stitch Piece
This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Violet.
The pattern used is of a brown stone home in the country side with a round out building and pond featuring a white swan and cute little boat. Lots of greenery and very quaint stone wall around the pond.
This item is stitched using all DMC cotton floss. It is stitched on cream Aida cloth. The stitching is very detailed and is stitched 1 over 1 which gives the overall piece a much more detailed and delicate look.
This piece has been cleaned, deodorized and pressed. It is ready to be used however you choose.
This adorable pattern could be worked into a pillow or wall hanging.
The finished stitched piece is rectangle in shape and measures approximately 4-1/2" from top to bottom and 6-1/2" from side to side.
This scenic countryside home pattern is stitched on a piece of cloth measuring 9" from top to bottom and 10-1/4" from side to side so there is plenty of fabric to be able to finish the piece out however you wish.
Most people either frame these pieces or use them to make pillows, wall quilt hangings or stitch them into some other project. Quilters use them as accent pieces to quilt around to make a special quilt or pillow.
