Finished Unframed The Trocadero Cross Stitch Piece -Stitched 1 Over 1

Handmade Cross Stitch Piece.

This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Violet from Florida.

The pattern used is a vintage cross stitch pattern by designer Debbie Patrick. The design name is The Trocadero - San Francisco. It was part of a grouping called Victorians Across America from the late 1980's to early 1990's. It features a yellow ornate Victorian farm house with gray and white accents. There are pink curtains in the lower level windows and blue ones in the upstairs windows. It has a grant stairway going up to the large front porch. There is nice landscaping around the home and lattice work in the front with a matching bench at the side.

This piece has been cleaned, deodorized and pressed.  It is ready to be used however you choose.  

This adorable pattern could be worked into a pillow or framed for a wall hanging.

The finished stitched piece is rectangle and measures approximately 4-1/2" from top to bottom and 6" from side to side.

This detailed Victorian farmhouse view pattern is stitched on a piece of cloth measuring 8-1/4" from top to bottom and 10-1/4" from side to side so there is plenty of fabric to be able to use the scene however you wish.

Most people either frame these pieces or use them to make pillows, wall quilt hangings or stitch them into some other project.  

Quilters use them as accent pieces to quilt around to make a special quilt or pillow.
