Finished Unframed Victorian Store Front Cross Stitch Piece -Stitched 1 Over 1

Handmade Cross Stitch Piece.

This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Violet from Florida.

The pattern used is a vintage cross stitch pattern featuring a pink Victorian storefront with a sign that reads "Yesteryear". There are shops on both sides of the lower level that have Sale signs in the front and clothes for sale in the windows. The upper story has a nice balcony and lots of decorative woodwork. There is a street light in the front and plenty of windows.

This piece has been cleaned, deodorized and pressed.  It is ready to be used however you choose.  

This adorable pattern could be worked into a pillow or framed for a wall hanging.

The finished stitched piece is rectangle and measures approximately 4-3/4" from top to bottom and 6-1/2" from side to side.

This detailed Victorian Storefront pattern is stitched on a piece of cloth measuring 8-1/2" from top to bottom and 10-1/2" from side to side so there is plenty of fabric to be able to use the scene however you wish.

Most people either frame these pieces or use them to make pillows, wall quilt hangings or stitch them into some other project.  

Quilters use them as accent pieces to quilt around to make a special quilt or pillow.
