The fishing cat has gold beads for buttons on the vest and vest pocket. The cat has an open can of fishing worms and two fishing baskets. The fishing pole is a stick with a red heart bead on the end of the string. The stitcher, Barbara, has signed the piece at the bottom, "BS 2004".
The cross stitch piece is made using DMC cotton threads. It is stitched on antique white linen and is stitched 2 over 2.
