Framed Finished Cross Stitch Piece of Drum Point Lighthouse in Maryland

Handmade Cross Stitch Piece.

This is a beautifully stitched cross stitch piece from an estate auction. It was stitched by Barbara from Ohio in 2007.

The pattern used features a nicely stitched lighthouse with red roof and blue skies.

The cross stitch piece is made using DMC cotton threads.  It is stitched on white linen and stitched 2 over 2.

The piece of cross stitch art has been professionally framed.  It is in a classic wood frame that is in nice condition.  It is finished on the back using black paper.  The piece has glass over the front.  It also has a mat board that accents the colors used in the cross stitch.  The mat is a muted green that matches the fencing at the bottom of the piece.

The finished stitched piece is rectangle and measures approximately 9-1/4" from top to bottom and 7" from side to side.  

The wood frame measures 1/2" thick from front to back and 1/2" wide in the front.  The framed piece altogether measures 12-1/2" from top to bottom and 10-1/4" from side to side.  It comes complete with the hanging hardware and bumpers at the bottom.  

This framed cross stitch piece does have glass on the front and will be shipped in a box with plenty of packing material to keep it safe. 

It will come ready to hang on the wall and enjoy.
